The John T. O’Connell Tower consists of a new 320,000 sq. ft. 10 story tower connected to the existing hospital on several floors. It provides a new central sterile facility and additional shipping / receiving space on the first level.
The John T. O’Connell Tower consists of a new 320,000 sq. ft. 10 story tower connected to the existing hospital on several floors. It provides a new central sterile facility and additional shipping / receiving space on the first level. The second level includes a new emergency department with 64 private exam/ treatment rooms, 4 trauma bays, 2 dedicated X-ray rooms, a new dedicated CT scan room, new front entrance & main lobby, and 13 covered ambulance bays. The third level holds 18 new operating rooms equipped with the latest in operating room integration systems technology.
