意昂体育 provided preconstruction and construction services for the new seven-story, 555,012-sq. ft., 286-bed Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital.
The new hospital replaced the existing Middle Tennessee Medical Center, a community hospital that was originally built in 1927.
The Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Hospital includes 12 operating rooms, 40 emergency-department exam rooms, 32 intensive-care units, 11 labor and delivery rooms, 16 neonatal intensive-care units, and a central energy plant.
The project included a comprehensive imaging equipment package with digital radiography, nuclear-medicine suites with dual detectors, a 4D ultrasound, a 64-slice computerized tomography scanner, four cardiac-catheterization laboratories, and a 3T magnetic resonance imaging scanner.
