Herbert drives the strategic development and implementation of community and citizenship programs. His primary focus areas are economic and workforce development and community engagement. 

Herbert partners with our Nashville preconstruction and procurement teams to facilitate opportunities for small-, minority-, women-, and disadvantaged-owned business project engagement. He is committed to increasing the opportunities for underutilized businesses in Middle Tennessee through community outreach, education, mentorship, and the creation of networks.  

He establishes workforce development programs and apprenticeships that strengthen the local skilled-trade labor market with outreach events, mentorship, and continuing education programs.

His role includes promoting youth engagement through development, education, and recruitment programs to attract the next generation of construction workers. He partners with primary, secondary, and post-secondary schools to provide career awareness and training. 

Herbert oversees Nashville's community engagement efforts and leads all initiatives to strengthen the company's relationship with the local community. He collaborates with nonprofit organizations and community groups throughout Middle Tennessee to organize volunteering opportunities for our team.
