意昂体育 provided preconstruction and construction services for the buildout of 38,000 sq. ft. of Class-A office space for Universal Music Group (UMG). Located in the 25-story 222 Second Avenue South building, UMG’s office spans the entire 22nd floor and half of the 23rd floor.
The powerhouse music label’s new office features an elevated work environment with offices, conference rooms, social spaces, and a monumental staircase that connects the two floors. Decorative Kriskadecor chains hang from the ceilings in the main reception and elevator areas, creating a welcoming environment for visitors below. With modern finishes and design focused on fostering collaboration, the new offices serve as a reflection of UMG’s personality.
UMG’s new office also includes a listening room with sound-transmission class-rated space for artist performances. Their previous office did not have a listening room and this new amenity gives music executives an opportunity to experience live music performances anytime.
