Multi-phased interior renovation of an existing office building that spans four floors and 200,000 sq. ft.. The project includes demolition of the existing space along with construction of the new space featuring high end finishes, kitchen areas, office spaces, conference rooms and breakout areas. A challenge on this project was the leveling of floors. The concrete floors were out of level by as much as 2 ¾” on the upper floors. The team had to correct this doing one of two things: pouring self-leveling thin set and leveling specific areas on each floor, or by casting concrete “curbs” to level the floor at specific locations where glass office fronts required strict levelness tolerances.
