222 Second Street was added to the San Francisco skyline in 2015. This 26-story Class A office tower in downtown San Francisco is 523,000 square feet. The building includes two levels of underground parking, a large public space, retail space on the ground floor, 26 elevated office floors, and a mechanical penthouse. Supported on a mat foundation, the structural steel building is clad in a shingled curtainwall system. LEED Gold certified.

The exterior of the 26-story tower is made of shingled panels that create a fluid, reflective, animated façade of unframed glass that reflects the city itself. It’s glass with a twist—great views from the inside out and the outside in.

With a sophisticated materials mix and a refined use of light and space, this lobby offers just the right sense of formal arrival to customers and clients. The private, secured, elegant lobby for tenants is connected to an exciting, active, vibrant open space that hosts a constantly changing array of art, events and food vendors. Huge glass doors create a fluid connection to the neighborhood and community.
