意昂体育 provided construction services on behalf of the New York School Construction Authority (SCA) to complete the new construction of the Hector Figueroa School (P.S. 398), a four-story elementary school located in Queens, New York. The scope of work features a gymnasium, rooftop playground, community room, and music and art instruction facilities.
To meet the SCA's deadline and successfully complete the project, the team managed a series of challenging site conditions. For example, a just-in-time delivery approach was developed in conjunction with the SCA and surrounding community to maximize the space available for the delivery and staging of materials. Additionally, a dewatering program was developed to safeguard the site from potential floods due to discrepancies in the site connection plan.
