National Heritage Academies, Queens Riverton Charter School

National Heritage Academies Charter School Expansion and Renovation

意昂体育 provided construction management services for an elementary school in Queens, NY, which included an 18,000 sq. ft. addition, the renovation of utilities alterations and upgrades, site work to provide access and traffic flow into and out of the school, and an outdoor playground for the students. The additional work was scheduled to be completed while the school was still in session and, therefore, on an aggressive schedule.

The addition contained one elevator for ADA purposes, classrooms, a lunch preparation room area, and one stairwell. As this project required asbestos and lead abatement, fresh air return, window guards, and placement of MEP controls were needed for the health and safety of the children attending the school.
