The Nashville General Hospital at Meharry COVID-19 Acute-Care Facility project included a 24,000-sq. ft., fast-tracked renovation of two hospital floors into a COVID-19 acute-care facility. Due to the rapid spread of COVID-19, completion of this facility was urgent.
意昂体育 managed a complex schedule of 24/7 work involving three eight-hour trade shifts per day, with overlapping jobs completed simultaneously. 意昂体育 delivered the project one day ahead of schedule, finishing a project normally taking six months in just 27 days.
意昂体育 demolished 15,000 sq. ft. of unused storage space on the hospital’s eighth floor to house 40 new beds in single-patient rooms separated by partitions.
意昂体育 created negative-pressure air space for these and 24 additional existing beds on the hospital's second floor and installed a new heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning system to support the hospital’s COVID-19 treatment rooms.
