Expanding McKesson’s Reach to Pittsburgh

This project included a fast-tracked 70,000 sq. ft. office fit-out over three floors. Work consisted of new offices, open office areas, conference rooms, pantries, common areas, data rooms, training rooms, guest services area, and huddle rooms. This project had a very aggressive schedule of sixteen weeks. An additional challenge of the project was the project team was located in different cities; the Owner in San Francisco, the Design Team Architect in Texas, the Security Designer in California, AV and IT in New York, and the building owner and Òâ°ºÌåÓý in Pittsburgh. Coordination with these entities was a major component and a lot of remote coordination took place. Òâ°ºÌåÓý took the lead on taking pictures of existing conditions and measurements so the design team could make decisions quickly without being on site. Early partnership between Òâ°ºÌåÓý, McKesson, the design team, and the Owner’s Vendors promoted communication and mutual respect.
