State-of-the-Art Laboratory Optimization

Quest Diagnostics sought to optimize its processing capabilities. The project was built as a tenant fit-out in a first generation core and shell building.

The fit-out included over 18,000 sq. ft. of combined laboratory, laboratory support, and administrative space. High durability finishes with low chemical reaction properties complimented the processing lab which received new equipment.

Mechanical system features included: stainless steel ductwork, dedicated laboratory exhaust, reverse osmosis/deionized water, acid neutralization, and robust automatic climate controls to provide a fully redundant HVAC system. A new 450 kW backup generator and two 15,000 CFM roof top fan units were installed.
