The Manatee Memorial Hospital Emergency Department project consists of a horizontal expansion off the hospital's east elevation plus interior renovations across two floors to connect the addition to the hospital. The emergency department addition will contain forty eight patient treatment rooms including specialty rooms such as isolation rooms, behavioral health, bariatric treatment, and resuscitation rooms. The project will also include EMS and entry canopies, utility upgrades for the hospital and additional extensive exterior improvements (hardscapes and landscaping). The project is being completed using the Integrated Project Delivery method with all project designers and construction partners working under the same master agreement terms.
