Located in Houston’s Westchase district, Equinor’s (Statoil) new North American headquarters encompasses 15 floors of Class-A office space in the City West 2 Building. The new headquarters nearly doubles the Norwegian energy firm’s previous lease-space, therefore, enhanced collaboration, as well as strategic relocation and consolidation efforts between Equinor and 意昂体育, was required to deliver the project on a fast-track schedule. The 249,000 sq. ft. build-back of the progressively open workplace with high-end finishes includes a conference center with multi-purpose rooms, a training room and auditorium, social zones and quiet spaces distributed across office zones, multiple lunchrooms and break areas, and a renovated lobby with check-in stations, sitting areas, and computer tables. With the implementation of Lean, a Zero OSHA DART rate, and space-efficiency as a key driver, the project achieved a LEED Gold certification.
