The Delta Terminal 2 Modernization project consists of the renovation and expansion of approximately 250,000 sq. ft. to the existing terminal at FLL. Work included new passenger gates and holdrooms, passenger security screening checkpoint relocation and expansion, concession spaces relocation, Delta and BCAD offices, renovated restrooms, terrazzo flooring, new stairs and escalators, ramp apron renovations, and other terminal improvements.
The expansion included a new mezzanine level for the new Delta Sky Club, a new curved roof system and glass curtain wall.
