Carnegie Science Center Pavilion

Pittsburgh鈥檚 Family Destination for Interactive Science Education

This new 48,000 sq. ft. addition to the existing Carnegie Science Center, named the PPG Science Pavilion, expands the already beloved museum to include more areas for science and technology education. The addition contains classrooms on the ground floor, a traveling exhibition space on the first floor, a mezzanine portion of the traveling exhibition space that aligns with the existing second floor, and a special events space on the third floor. In addition, there were also renovations to the existing Science Center space which consisted of new finishes, revised interior layouts, including a new kitchen, new elevators and stairs, new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
