Holi is a popular ancient Hindu festival, also known as the “Festival of Love”, the “Festival of Colors” and the “Festival of Spring”. Holi celebrates the arrival of spring, the end of winter, the blossoming of love and for many, it is a festival day to meet others, play and laugh, forget and forgive, and repair broken relationships.
Our Columbus business unit threw a large Holi Celebration in honor of the holiday. The team hosted activities including; a Sum of Us Hand Mural in their lobby, job-site-wide t-shirt distribution, pictures with the workforce on the job site, Rasmalai Desserts served, and a Color Fest to end the day.
Rama Ekkad, Operations Manager, expressed her joy. “This even brought back memories of my childhood.” Holi has been celebrated in the Indian subcontinent for centuries, with poems documenting celebrations dating back to the 4th century.
